About Changefied and your impact


Changefied develops innovative Virtual Reality learning platforms, such as Virtual OV, that increase the self-reliance of neurodivergent youth by, among other things, helping them learn to travel independently using public transport. With our gamified solutions within the social domain, we actively contribute to inclusion, equal opportunities, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, aiming to have empowered more than 250,000 people worldwide by 2030.


As a marketing intern, you play a direct role in increasing this societal impact by making our solutions more visible to educational institutions, municipalities, and other partners.


Your role as a marketing intern

You strengthen our visibility and help get our story across sharp and clear to the right target audiences. Examples of your duties:

  • Contributing to and executing campaigns surrounding Virtual Public Transport and the Virtual Empowerment platform via social media, mailings, and (online) events.
  • Creating and optimizing content (posts, visuals, short videos, news items) that focuses on social impact, inclusion, and the SDGs.
  • Help build a consistent brand identity for Changefied towards education, municipalities, and healthcare and welfare organizations.
  • Analyzing online results (e.g., reach, engagement) and making suggestions for improvement to further increase our impact.
  • Assisting with communication with partners, such as developing case studies, impact stories, and presentation materials.


Depending on your degree program and interests, there is room to conduct your own (graduation) research, for example into the effectiveness of impact communication or the positioning of VR in the social domain.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a higher professional education student who identifies with the points below:

  • You are studying, for example, Communication, Marketing, Creative Business, (Online) Content Marketing, Commercial Economics, or a similar field.
  • You have a demonstrable interest in societal impact, inclusion, education, mobility, or innovation.
  • You are proactive, eager to learn, and not afraid to take responsibility in a dynamic startup environment.
  • You write fluently in Dutch and can translate complex content in an understandable and engaging way for various target audiences.
  • Affinity with VR, gaming, or the social sector is a strong plus.


Practical and applying

  • Start date: by mutual agreement, fitting your internship period.
  • Duration: preferably 4–6 months (work placement or graduation internship).
  • Location: hybrid; combination of working on-site in North Holland and remotely, in consultation.
